How to Install libecpg6 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libecpg6 software package provides run-time library for ECPG programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libecpg6

libecpg6 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libecpg6 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libecpg6 *
